In recent days, under the main current narrative of modernity and globalization, the vast traditional villages in China, which were treated as contradictions of modernity, are also involved into it.However, villages in China should never been definite as in a state of disunity. It is normally admitted that a complex network, which is the foundation of order in countryside, constitutes villages and anyone or any groups are demanded to act in this network. In previous studies of Chinese villages, the traditional network was described as patriarchal or family-clan culture, which was bonded by consanguinity and geographical relationship. And the process of degradation and decomposing of traditional village organization is in ways as below:in the calling of market economy, bounds of villagers leave their hometown and flow over into modern factories. The previous bound of patriarchal or family-clan loses its efficacy in both external forms and inner modes. And the decomposing of traditional village also existed in the process of urbanization. However, it is still not attached enough importance to the hollow and enclosed villages in recent studies. This paper is aimed to discuss the change and future of villages under the coverage of modernity. In the field work of Qinggangpo, a small village in northwest Guizhou Province, it is found that organization of traditional Chinese villages have diversity forms, other than patriarchal or family-clan. The development of Qinggangpo is restricted by the natural environmental conditions and inaccessibility. In history, individuals, families and the whole village were bounded in comparisons filled with competition and repellency. This combining mode can extend to the village as a administrative unit, while inwardly it can only mean relationships between families, even inside a family. In the local narrative, they call it fighting for "jia"(to be No.1). This mode was reflected in masculinity, which meant they valued physical strength extremely. However, with the trend of being migrant workers, most of the adult labors find that what once ever was honored becomes the reason why they are marginalized in modern society. The outside form and inner cognitive schema are broken down with the movement of population. As a result of that, the future and destiny of Qinggangpo seems vague and ambiguous. The bewilderment and confliction revealed and exploded in a event of construct roads for the village by a person who was grown up in Qinggangpo and already settled in modernity. With outlining the process and inhibitions in this collective action, we can understand the logic of organization of village, and the special cognitive schema of villagers. At the same time, we would find out the real reasons behind the solidarity and confliction in village.
