With the development of the new curriculum, Chinese teaching is changing. As one important teaching literary form, Chinese modern and contemporary poems have exposed many problems. For more real understand the situation of Chinese teaching in high school, I made a student’s questionnaire survey and interviewed the teachers of common senior high school in Liaoning province. By the survey, I found that the Chinese modern and contemporary poems teaching is in the edge of Chinese teaching, for many reasons just like the influence of exam-oriented education, teachers quality, specialties of the Chinese modern and contemporary poems and so on.In order to play the style of modern and contemporary poetry, and help teachers to explore effective and feasible teaching strategies, on account of the teaching reality, the education reform, teaching experiences, I summarized the problems and factors, and put forward the education conception. Full text is divided into four chapters; the main content is as follows:The first chapter: I analyzed the senior high school PEP Chinese textbooks, summarized the questionnaires and interviews, to make a correct judgment of the status quo.The second chapter: Analyzed three important component of the classroom, the teachers, the students and the teaching materials, I summarized the causes of the defects in the teaching of Chinese modern and contemporary poems, such as narrow range of teaching materials, single teaching and examination forms, restrictions on stylistic features and so on, so as to help put forward the teaching plan.The third chapter: Through the summary and induction of the last two chapters, I made up measures for the reform of Chinese modern and contemporary poems teaching include class selection system, thematic teaching model, close reading, micro writing, so to sort out a complete set of teaching plan.The fourth chapter: The teaching method is applied in the teaching practice, through the teaching practice to test the feasibility of the teaching method, analysis of teaching cases to further improve the results of the study.
