Exercises are the carrier of mathematical knowledge, the growth point of mathematical thought and method, which implies a great educational potential. In the exercises teaching, the teacher through commenting to guide students to consolidate and deepen the knowledge. However,as for current mathematical exercises teaching,teachers often adopt the cramming teaching method of, which lead to students lack of independent thinking and practical ability, can not really play the role of recitation.First of all, students general interested in exercise classes not high, they often only have passive learning. Tired of taking notes in class, there is no digestion and thinking process. Secondly, there are many problems in the present situation of teacher education. Teachers’ teaching has more emphasis on mechanical imitation, weakening the ability of the analysis of the training, ignoring the students’ subjectivity, not really effective in guiding students to learn.As time goes by, students’ learning will be more and more passive,which is easy to breed weariness, which is clearly a serious impediment to the independent development of students.Then the "optimization" of exercise become the focus of research.Based on the above background, this paper attempts to through the investigation of middle school and high school teachers of mathematics exercise class teaching situation, with the relevant theoretical literature at home and abroad as a guide, put forward some help to optimize the exercises in mathematics classroom teaching strategies, so as to explore experience and methods to improve the teaching level of mathematics exercises, improving the efficiency of middle school mathematics teaching exercise. Specific research questions can be divided into the following two aspects:1.The present situation investigation and research of the middle school mathematics exercise class teaching,and its advantages and disadvantages.2. combined with the new curriculum standards of the relevant concepts to explore how to optimize the exercise class teaching strategies.This article uses the literature research method, the interview method, the questionnaire method,the case analysis method,the comparison research method and so on. Through interviews and questionnaires to understand, the main problem exists in the middle school mathematics exercises teaching:(1) First of all, is lack of integrity design(2) Secondly, teachers select exercising arbitrarily(3)Thirdly, theteacher’s teaching method and the teaching form is single(4) Finally,teachers do not pay attention to the guidance of students’ problem solving. According to the problems existing in the actual teaching, with the domestic and foreign literature and the corresponding mathematical exercises case to guide, through the inquiry, the corresponding optimization teaching strategies are obtained:(1)A variety of questions(2) Teacher and student to make up the problem(3)Clever question to guide(4) Student self-study, independent thinking(5) Group discussion, cooperation and communication(6) Expansion of space, self-display(7)Model, summary method(8)Computer technology, auxiliary teaching. In the study of mathematical exercises, it is not only to let students learn how to solve problems, it is more important for them to learn a way of thinking, a way to cultivate a habit and a problem-solving ability.Finally, after the study of the comparison.The study has the following aspects:(1) The changes of students’ classroom performance(2) Students classroom emotion and learning behavior changes(3)Student’ achievement comparative analysis and the students’ conducted interviews. Through the research, we can find that the exercise class after optimizing the teaching strategy is conducive to mobilize the enthusiasm of the students, so that students have a strong interest in mathematics. Although there have changes in the control class, it is not as obvious as the experimental class.It fully shows that the use of the optimization of the teaching strategy can promote the exercise class teaching and student learning, to verify the effectiveness of the study.Practice has proved:the exercise class which proved became more effective.Exercise class "optimization" not only has a greater help to improve student achievement, but also enhances the vitality of teaching, adapting to the requirements of quality education and new curriculum. Therefore, as teacher,we have to give full attention to exercise class,study exercise class and the problems in teaching and take corresponding measures to optimize the exercise class teaching,to improve the quality of teaching.
