| For children in primary school, physical and mental growth develop rapidly. At the same time, their moral system is being formed. As a result, value education is of great importance. And the Chinese course has natural advantages of the value embedding: on the one hand, language is the carrier of culture; on the other hand, the Chinese textbook consists of articles, and the articles always reflect the author’s point of view and their value choices. This essay will focus on doing researches of the value embedding functions of primary Chinese textbooks.This study can be divided into five parts:Chapter 1 is Introduction, it mainly introduces the thesis writing background,meaning and ideas.In Chapter 2, I discuss on the guiding ideas of value embedding in textbooks. In other words, what rules should we obey to embed value appropriately.Chapter 3 discuss on Model Demonstration. Model Demonstration means that we create a character who owns some exemplary qualities. Students will observe what the models do and admit the values which can be reflected on these characters.Chapter 4 discuss on Scene Resonate. Scene Resonate means that we use several methods to create a scene. From reading, children are infected emotionally, and meanwhile, resonate and empathy will be raised.Chapter 5 discuss on Value Convey by Scenery Description or Object Description, which does not express moods or convey values directly. Instead, it illustrates philosophy and express feelings by scene portrayal or fables.I make analysis on the three specific value embedding methods, and focus on the present problems in textbook composition. On this basis, I will give some constructional advice on how to improve our article selection and article composing.It will also benefit the teachers when they interpret the textbook and make teaching designs. |
