Teachers’ personal ability plays an important role in improving children’s learning results. The essences of education reform in the end are often the teacher education reform. As an important carrier of teacher education, Curriculum is the key to realize the teacher education target, and therefore become an important part of education reform. Since the 1950 s, Teacher education curriculum in Singapore went through three important shift, namely the ’50 s to 70 s knowledge, skills, oriented teacher education curriculum; In the 80 s ~ 90 s, reflection oriented teacher education curriculum(failed) as well as the ability to exploration in the 21 st century as the guidance of the teacher education curriculum. Compared with other teachers education curriculum, during the period of teacher education in the 21 st century the characteristics of the course is mainly manifested in the following respects: first, on the curriculum structure, the national institute of education not only attaches great importance to the professional knowledge, but also emphasis on the cultivation of the pre-service teachers’ practical ability, through setting up supervising teachers in primary and secondary school; second, On the mode of curriculum implementation,the national institute of education through the medium cooperation training mode, to create a real situation of teaching for teachers, arouse their exploring ability; On curriculum evaluation, the national institute of education is given priority to self-reported, use the evaluation ways such as file cover, observe the conversation,insteading paper and pencil tests, so that teachers in the process of self-reflection, and exploring achieve self-development. At present, our country’s pre-service teacher education curriculum has plenty of experience in training teachers’ knowledge and skills, but still lacks experiences in the teachers’ ability training. Therefore, this article wants to study pre-service teacher education curriculum in Singapore, so as to improve the pre-service teacher education curriculum in China.
