With the further development of basic education course reform, the junior middle school history and the society both in the overall design and textbook selection on some changes have taken place in the content.Ten years teaching practice, people’s education press in 2001 published curriculum reform of junior high school textbook of history and society and the new curriculum reform in the 2011 junior middle school history and social textbooks have certain representativeness.Paper mainly adopts literature research, comparative analysis, etc., combining with the history and society course teaching theory, psychology, pedagogy, such as theory, the society and history of the above two version textbooks for the overall design and content comparison of the two aspects of select material, meet the new the characteristics of the textbooks, textbooks for the improvement and use of the teaching of its recommendations, to deepen the reform of the course, enrich the basic theory of curriculum and teaching, improve the textbooks, and promote teaching.The text is divided into four parts:The first part is introduction.Mainly introduced this article selected topic basis, research significance, review of previous studies, and determine the research train of thought and method, points out that the innovation and deficiency.The second part is the overall design compare two editions.Including the comparison of two aspects of design idea and overall structure.By comparing the two edition textbooks guiding ideology, analyzed their respective emphasis.The comparison of the overall structure textbooks are divided into two parts of the macrostructure and microstructure.Macro structure comparison about phase content and writing style, and the micro structure refers to from two aspects of the text part and the text auxiliary part detailed comparison, summed up their respective advantages and disadvantages.Third part is the edition of textbook selection compared the content from the subject. specific content and presentation, evaluation on image information, problem sets, add or delete content comparison, analysis of the differences in the content selection, and analyzes its advantages and disadvantages.The fourth part is the characteristics of the two editions and how to use the new edition.Based on the previous 2 &3 part on the comparative analysis of the two editions, some conclusions:the spirit curriculum reform Civilization focus is different:During the efficiency;Too much weight: To explore the bad activities carried out:Problem sets design has a problem, and so on.As for how to use teaching.try to talk about some of the ideas:history and society textbook should follow the rules of student’s physical and mental health development, strengthening the knowledge, methods, ability of integration:flexible use of the new history and social history comprehensive teaching textbook examples, subject to explore the teaching.
