Contemporary Prose materials close to the students real life, with outstanding aesthetic emotion qualities, a student literary style of writing easy. Contemporary Prose teaching as part of the high school language teaching, for students to use, aesthetic, cultivate the ability to explore an important role can not be ignored. However, the current prose teaching high school, there are still many shortcomings, these problems should be solved.Contemporary Prose teaching high school language for Jiangsu compulsory paper textbooks for the study, literature study, questionnaires, interviews and other research methods to explore the problem of Jiangsu high school language textbooks compulsory teaching of modern and contemporary prose and Countermeasures.Paper is divided into three parts:introduction, body and conclusion, the text of which consists of three parts.The first chapter describes the concept of contemporary prose and the characteristics of Jiangsu high school language compulsory textbooks contemporary prose classification and arrangement. The proposed strategy includes strengthening of Prose awareness:focus on updated and improved teacher contemporary prose theory, students of prose style look; clear prose teaching content: According to the humanities topics, expressions and student demand reasonable certainty; perfect prose teaching method; cultivate interest in reading prose:students leaving school time, respect for the students to choose, do not forget the appropriate help teachers guide students to write four essays and the like.
