Chinese higher education has gradually entered popular education nowadays, and the enrollment of colleges and universities expands year after year. At the same time, during the Higher Education the funding shortages and the lower resource utilization has restricted the further development of higher education like a stumbling block. With the gradual opening of Chinese higher education market and accelerate the pace of industrialization of higher education, higher education investment and economic importance have become a hot issue. Located in the southwest of China, Yunnan Province, the poor transportation facilities lead to the lower level of economic development, and the many ethnic minorities, make it worse. It is really important for Yunnan Province,which develops slowly relatively to improve education benefit fundamentally.In this study, the integrated use of input-output analysis, geospatial analysis, time series analysis, econometric and other quantitative and qualitative approach to higher education in the process of human, material and financial resources utilization efficiency as the main indicators reflecting the benefit of higher education in Yunnan, select the provinces development of Higher Education data(2003-2012), Yunnan College Teaching basic state data(2011-2014) correlation analysis results are as follows: 1.Yunnan province higher education benefit evaluation ranked 16 th in the country. 2.the input and output of higher education with highly relevant, that is, high input lead to high output, low input results in low output. GDP per capital benefits and areas of higher education have a certain degree of positive correlation. 2. Higher efficiency at all levels of local ranking: Higher efficiency than the core area of the diffusion region, higher fringe benefits. 3.various types of higher education benefit ranks: Higher efficiency is higher than ordinary adult higher education benefit; public education benefit is higher than private higher education benefits; undergraduate college education Higher efficiency than effectiveness. And accordingly proposed to enhance Yunnan Higher efficiency recommendations: establish and strengthen the efficiency awareness education; improve education diversified investment system; promote higher education connotation development; reform institutional mechanisms to improve the resource utilization.The innovation of this study is to compare with other areas of the horizontal,and it is also the longitudinal dimension to the type of education and geospatial analysis and research education, higher education benefit analysis in Yunnan Province from different angles. However, due to the lack of financial resources into the university class data, and the benefit evaluation method is really simple, its findings have some limitations. To build a more comprehensive benefit evaluation index system, the use of more scientific evaluation methods will be the direction for the future study.
