An Investigation On The Legal Awareness Of College Students In Guiyang City

The overall goal of the rule of law was first proposed to comprehensively promote on the party’s the fourth Plenary Session of the 18 th CPC Central Committee,including the construction of socialist legal system China characteristics and building a socialist country ruled by law. Comrade Xi Jinping pointed out that we should carry out the legal education in the whole society, express the spirit of socialist rule of law, guide all people abide by the law, which people have to rely on to solve problems, and form the glorious good atmosphere of law-abiding. For the economically underdeveloped areas of Guizhou, universities are mainly concentrated in Guiyang, college students are the backbone of the construction of socialist rule of law, whose legal consciousness will affect the development of the construction of rule of law in the Guizhou area to a certain extent. Further understanding the structure of legal consciousness of college students in Guiyang has a significance to cultivate students’ awareness of the law and the construction of rule of law in the western region.In this paper, students from Guizhou University, Guizhou University for Nationalities, Guizhou Institute of Technology, each with its own uniqueness were investigated, a total of 3,000 copies of the questionnaire, 1000 were issued in each of the three schools, a total of 2530 questionnaires were recovered, the recovery rate was 84.3%, 2201 valid questionnaires, the effective rate was 87%. By SPSS frequency analysis method, I found that college students of three universities in Guiyang surveyed has been missing the faith in law; lacking in mastering of legal knowledge, they can analyse a problem in a more rational way combining their knowledge of the law. The main contents are as follows:The first chapter focuses on the research of the basic situation of college students in Guiyang City Legal Awareness survey.The second chapter of analysing the research data collected and getting problems and causes of College Students Legal Awareness in Guiyang City Legal Education, Law beliefs, legal knowledge, legal thinking.The third chapter relevant conclusions are drown from analysis of survey data, to enhance Guiyang make relevant recommendations City College Students legal awareness we should take action such as strengthen the development of law and cultural, create a favorable legal environment; strengthen the law education of rule in colleges and universities, improve legal knowledge of college students; learn basic legal knowledge, unite the power of legal faith and so on.
