With the emergence of knowledge economy Era, knowledge management (KM) is a new and developing management theory generated in 1990s. Generally speaking, KM is a specific management to knowledge assets of the organization, so that the value of knowledge can be maximized. In today's information-driven economy, the value of the organization is determined by its knowledge assets rather than other physical assets. An effective KM has become the key component of the organization's core competence. In one sense, the teachers' organization is mainly based on knowledge and the teacher's work is a series of dynamic process of the use of knowledge, therefore, the degree of the use of knowledge influences the effect of the teacher's work. Knowledge plays a vital role in the value of the teachers' organization. In short, KM is a worthy method which can promote wisdom and ability of the teachers' organization. This article focuses on how to make KM in the teachers' organization.The body of this article consists of three parts:Part I expounds the meaning, background and difficulty of KM. KM of the teacher's organization is not an easy job, but it is worthy from a long-term point of view.Part II explains the necessity of taking up KM in the teachers' organization Firstly, teachers are knowledge workers, so they are the object of KM. Secondly, traditional management of the teachers' organization is not reach to the requirement of the times, so, we have to reform it.Part in points out the way for which is helpful for the teachers' organization to take up KM.
