Zhejiang University Technological Innovation Force Is To Promote Regional Economic Development Research

University, as the main body of scientific and education organization, is playing a more important role in social and economy development. The interactive development of education, knowledge innovation and technology innovation has become the main model of current university. So, how to harmonize the university's function of education, scientific research and economy, and maximize its S&T innovation's dedication to social economic development, is a new topic for the universities in worldwide area to research and solve in new century.Starting from analyse of S&T and Economy in One, knowledge-based economy, science & education to national prosperity, national innovation system, inherent principle of university, this paper analyzes the speciality of universities' participation in economic activity, concludes that there is no contradiction between universities' economic function and non-profitable characteristic, distinguishes the position and action of three main kinds of universities in national innovation system, and catches scientifically on the connotation of universities' S&T innovation ability. Further more, through evaluation of present view of universities' S&T innovation capacity in Zhejiang province, DEA evaluation of universities' S&T innovation capacity, and analyse of relationship between universities' S&T innovation capacity and areal economy development, this paper analyzes dynamic developing of universities' innovation capacity in Zhejiang province, validity situation of input and output, and harmonious developing of areal economy system. It helps us to understand and catch the lack of universities' innovation capacity in Zhejiang province and the cause of low efficiency for universities to facilitate the economy development, and search the way for universities to promote innovation capacity in Zhejiang province, and facilitate the areal economy development, provides theoretical and practical foundation for universities' further development.
