There existed some problems in our present moral education. For example, the definition of moral education are more social-orientated than individual-orientated, and the objectives of moral education lost contact with the living reality of students, and the contents of moral education couldn't keep up with the pace of living, and the methods of moral education neglected the living experience and practice, too.Fortunately, the above problems has been aware of in the new curriculum reform which regarded "learning to live " as the core of the curriculum of moral education, and it pointed out that the curriculum of moral education should have the following characteristics: being close to life, opening, and stressing activities. According to the spirit of this reform, the author tried to make the development of the "opening" school-based curriculum of moral education as a cutting point to realize the opening of moral education that aimed at nurturing the future grown-ups that possess the spirit of era, are innovative, and courageous in pioneering.In order to realize the opening of contents of moral education, the author supplemented some students- interested contents which embodied the trends of times, were related with the students' life closely. Besides that, the author suggested that we should overcome the limitation of teaching in the classroom, let the students receive moral education in varied interesting and vigorous activities in and out of the school. As for the opening of the approaches of moral education, the author believed that the moral education of school should be linked with that of family and society, and draw lessons bravely from oversea reasonable aspects on methods and approaches of moral education to enrich ours. The aim of developing the school-based moral education is to let the students live healthily, securely, and let them live pleasantly, actively. The students should be responsible for their lives, and be kind to others, often use their heads to live creatively.
