In order to make people have deeper recognition about education on literature of high school, holding firm principle and practice unity ,the article will study on the essence of education on literature of high school ,it is generally divided into four parts .The first part of this article will state from the connotation of its concept, its status in education on Chinese and the essence of the high school's education on literature .It points out that high school's education on literature is the unity of education on literature and high school's education on Chinese; high school's education on literature has very important status midst the education on Chinese of high school, but it can not placed the education on Chinese of high school. The medium of the education on Chinese is not merely works of literature but activity about literature ; content of literature in high school included the activity of education involved in the knowledge of literature appreciating on literature ,creation of literature and review of literature and so forth. The education on literature of high school is the embodiment of thought, idea and the development of history in essence and at the same time it is important content and important cardinal form of modernization of education on Chinese in high school, besides this it still has the predicable of diathesis training.The second part of this article mainly states the constituents and characters of high school's education on literature .It points out that the literature education consists of three facters including teachers, students and teaching activities .Its process of operation included the Back cyclo-sum reciprocating of teachers and students ,of teachers and literature ,of students and literature .It has the character that is the unity of experience and recognition ,the unity of transgress and utility ,the unity of doing by himself and by others .The third part of this article mainly discussed the value and function of education on literature of high school .It points out that education onliterature of high school can be affluent in the knowledge of science and culture of students and it has great function on improving students' abuttal of appreciating beauty ,on building humanities spirit to intigrate the character of the middle school students , on broading the thoughts and improving the aptitude of application for language .The forth part of this article discussed the cardinal content of education on literature of high school that includes the knowledge of high school's education on literature, appreciation of literature, review of literature, education of writing on literature and requirenment concerned about it .It points out that the important signification of education on literature knowledge of Chinese for developing other activity and its own important value. The education about appreciation on literature of high school that is made up of the three aspects including recognition, appreciation and culture expatiation. The review of education on high school's literature has important value to develop the students' pupillary judgment thought .To write for high school students can not only improve the level of the students' recognition but also the aptitude of students' appreciating beauty.
