The society we are facing today is one fast changing, and education has run into both opportunities and challenges which have never taken place before. In China, the wave of education reform is surging forward. Schools now are awarded more and more rights of self-management. They have the rights of developing school-based curricula. They can draw the dream of tomorrow freely with bright characteristics to fit the future needs. The day of "all schools with the same face" is gone forever. The Research Curricula have become the methodology and foundation for forming the personality and characteristics of schools.This thesis systematically introduces the background of the development of the Research Curricula. It analyzes the present situation about the practice of the curricula of Gaomi No. 4 Middle School, including the object, the content, the enforcement plan, the security measures, the management and the ways of appraisal of the curricula. It puts forward the existent problems about the curricula and the thinking about the curricula.
