Recently, with the emphasis of the research on sustainable development, environmental education was gradually replaced by "Education for Sustainable Development (BSD)". In the public schools of England, National Curriculum has been implemented and Environmental education was one of the five courses which cross the subjects. In the august of 1999, National Curriculum was emended roundly from environmental education to BSD. So the author tries to analyze this policy and give some advice on the BSD of China.This thesis includes four sections:In the preface, the author demonstrates the purpose, summary of current information, research methods of this paper.In the first part, the author analyzes the background of this policy.In the second part, the author analyzes the content, rationality and feasibility of this policy.In the third part, the author gives some advice on the ESD in Chinese elementary and high schools. |
