Education is a fundamental cause that concerns ups and downs in a nation. The Marxists have always pay attention to the educational basic function in social developing. The third generation leaders group around Jiang Zemin in the communist Party, according Deng Xiaoping's great theory, led the whole Party and the whole nations in the socialist construction; paid much attention to educational functions. During the educational reform and blazing new trails, the Party leaders stated many new ideas, new thoughts about the educational developing strategy, quality education, system education and whole-life education...They provided aids for talented persons and intelligence support; they also provide us an important theory weapon in the practice of educational reform.Studying and researching Jiang Zemin's theory about the education is the most direct, the most realistic and the most effective method under the new situation. It is not only advantageous to cope with all kinds of problems in the practice of educational reform, but also advantageous to develop the education and advantageous to carry out smoothly the strategy about which science and technology can improve our country.This essay uses the method of contrast and analysis, theory and practice, conclusion and citation, tries to state Jiang Zemin's education theory system from Marxism education theory, Mao Zedong education theory and Deng Xiaoping education theory, shows Jiang Zemin's Education theory's historical position and function, also shows Jiang Zemin's educational theory's instructive significance in education reform.
