Since administration is external ethics while ethics is internal administration, there is a new trend that administration advocates moral principle. Recently Chairman Jiang Zemin put forward a proposal that our country must be administered by ethics. Under this background, it is very important, from angles of both theoretical value and practical significance, to study on ethicizing school administration. On one hand, ethicizing school administration meets the need of building education administration with Chinese characteristics. Any administration method is on the basis of some specific cultural background. Therefore, the principle of education administration with Chinese characteristics should be combined with the state specific cultural background and traditional ideas, as well as the essence of western administration theory. The thought of moral regulation in Confucianism and modern ethics has been permeating administration theory. That makes administration full of human feelings, realizes the distillation from administration something to administration somebody, and promotes the development of school administration principle. In a word, it is of importantly theoretical value to study on ethicizing school administration. On the other hand, our state is at the primary stage of market-oriented economy, the shock from the transform of state system charges social organization including schools, and the original method doesn't meet the need of the changed school administration. So school managers are facing such practical things as developing administration ethics and ethicizing school administration in order to raise school administration efficiency, enhance school external adaptability and increase school internal cohesion. From that point, study on ethici/ing school administration has much practical essence.This thesis explores ethics of school administration from the structure features and logical changes of school administration methods. Firstly, the paper explains the connection between administration and ethics, and draws a conclusion that administration is external ethics while ethics is internal administration. Secondly, it theoretically analyses the structure characters and the development trend of administration methods. Then the paper studies the contact of Confucianism administration cultural and ethicizing school administration. Finally, it dissects the cultural basis and psychological factors of ethicizing school administration. On my opinion, it is very important to understand and master the structure features of administration methods, keep step of the trend of administration development, make good use of the traditional Confucianism, and put into effect ethicizing school administration methods which take consideration of teachers' labor features and psychological characters. Those help to raise the efficiency of school administration, enhance school external adaptability and increase school internal cohesion.
