We have already known that the update of knowledge in our society is getting faster and faster. The education in our school can not only focus in knowledge learning and problem training, it must also emphasize on the integrated abilities of discovering problems, bringing it forward, analyzing it and solving it finally. So science inquiry has already been the basic theory of the reform for school curriculum in our country. But the initiative and originality of students isn't inherent, it must be grown under definite cultivation and training. So a main function of education nowadays is to discover potential power of students, cultivate their initiative consciousness, original consciousness and self-determination ability. All of these abilities can not be achieved by simple lecture only, so kinds of assisted tools should be used in different settings to enrich our teaching mode."Science" published in East China Normal University is one of the core books in the reform of science curriculum. Now I use multimedia information technology to construct a system full of multimedia resource according to electricity knowledge in "science" for Grade 8 in order to provide students with various learning resource. I wish I could build a new mode of teaching information resource system. It should have such characteristics as follows:1. Being an open system in order to be convenient for teachers and students to add kinds of learning information.2. Supplying not only real resource but also information means in order to support inquiry study of students better.3. Attaching importance to train learning interest in students and inspiring their learning motivation.4. Supplying not only learning resource but also estimating resource.
