Discussion On Environmental Education In Geography Teaching In Middle School

With the rapid development of global population and the quick development of economy, the quickening pace of humans overuse of the natural resource make the environment severely polluted, and the natural balance badly destroyed, which makes things even worse. Therefore,being aware of this and improving humans ability to solve the problems above are becoming urgent.This artcle systematically discusses the present situation of the environmental awareness of middle school students, and outlines flaws in environment education. Students are in a period of rapid growth and more flexibility, and are more likely to accept new things, so giving them environment education is of more importance.This article discusses the possibility of putting environment education in geography teaching. It claims that middle school students should be the main educates.
