At turn of the century, under the calling of" quality-oriented education " idea, the basic education course reform of our country is started in an all-round way. This was reformed with overall course more completely last time by basic history of education of our country. Biological course is reformed and gone on with higher speed under this background. Ministry of Education issue " study the biological syllabus (experimental revised edition ) in being ordinary and senior" on 2000, organize a large amount of manpower develop " study the biological course standard in being ordinary and senior " on this basis, and has already succeeded in developing at the beginning of 2003 and issued formally . The reseach and issue of the standard indicate that biological course of high school of our country realizes the reform greater in range . In addition our country resume biological college entrance examination nationwide on 2001, this offer the new opportunity for of our country middle school student thing deepening development educated to learn. Under this line of reform backgrounds, it is necessary to do some investigations to the biological teaching current situation of high school, aim at pinpointing the problems, serve for deepenning reform further.This thesis mainly relied mainly on questionnaire investigation, complemented and carried on with methods , such as visit , informal discussion and teacher's case study of teacher and student ,etc.. Have chosen 29 high schools of 12 areas in Shandong by way of dividing floor and taking a sample at random. Provincial capital 4 of high school among them, ground (city ) grades of urban high school 13, county (city ) grades of urban high school 10, 2 places of high schools of villages and towns. This investigation grants 210 questionnaires altogether, retrieve 201 effective questionnaires, the effective rate of recovery is 95.7%. The questionnaire was worked out by oneself. Its basis of compilation is biological course and teaching theory , research contents of" ordinary biological course standard of high school" and other relevant subjects. The topic in the questionnaire can be summed up as six major parts. First part It is about classroom instruction, five respects , such as including teaching idea , teaching way , teaching means , comprehensive teaching and learning'to guide in France .etc.. Second part It is about experiment teaching, three respects , such as including experiment teaching equipment , the offering rate of experiment and experiment teaching form ,etc.. The third part It is about extracurricular activities, including launch two respects of form of extracurricular activities and activity. The fourth part About teaching appraisal, including teacher appraisal and school appraisal two respect in teacher in student. The fifth part It is about teacher's accomplishment, including four respects , such as the teacher's job emotion , knowledge quality , teaching and research educational reform and workingpressure ,etc.. The sixth part It is about course and teaching material, including two respects , such as course offered , pluses and minuses of the current teaching material ,etc.. These six parts are the research contents of this text.The data got to the questionnaire, count dealing with with two kinds of statistical method compared with difference of the percentage. Through making investigations , find that there is the following problem mainly in the biological teaching of high school at present: First, the classroom instruction idea lags behind, the teaching way is single , the teaching means lags behind, comprehensive teaching is not enough for and learn to guide and do one's best in France . Second, the experiment is weak in teaching, it is not complete to embodied in the experiment teaching equipment, the offering rate is too low, such respects as the teaching form of the experiment lags behind.
