As information technology spread, traditional education begin to encounter many impact and challenges. To promote learning effectively, we ought to integrate information technology into history curriculum and instruction.The paper consists of two parts. Part I examines that information technology is integrated into history textbook. This part discusses the characters and application of the new history textbook. Part II explores three instruction models and a new virtural reality approach in the teaching of history. Teachers are now integrating information technology into history instruction. There also are many teaching cases which are expounded the relevant instruction models.It is necessary to integrate information technology into history curriculum and instruction and practices of pedagogy. To adpt education to global technological development, history educational researcher should put in more instest to the new challenges. |
