In this thesis, the author describes and gives an explanation of the school-based in-service training practices of L Primary School in Nan Jing by using the case study method, and anatomizes and reflects the problems caused by the school-based in-service training in order to promote the school-based in-service training to develop more effectively and provide a fresh case for the theory and practice of the school-based in-service training which is still in its infancy. In this thesis, it's researched in three parts.In the first part, the author hackles the concept of the school-based in-service training from the macroscopical point of view, and explores the causes of the emergence of the school-based in-service training. The school-based in-service training, emerging with the development of the school-based in-service theory, is the need of teacher training in our country, and overcomes the shortcomings of the traditional training.In the second part, the author describes and explains the practice of the school-based in-service training of L Primary School Nan Jing from the point of view of a manager. The theme of the school-based in-service training of this school is the "incubation" of the teachers with wisdom. The managers of L Primary School in Nan Jing first give a definition of the teachers with wisdom, and consider that the education wisdom of teachers is the unity of the theoretical wisdom, the practical wisdom and the emotional wisdom. Then they describe and explain the training mode of the teachers with wisdom-—the meaning, mode, approach and management of incubation. Self-studying and reflection, cooperation and communication, different level training, practical guidance and problem research are the five main modes. At last, the effect of the school-based in-service training is generalized from the internal and external layers.In the third part, the author analyzes and reflects the practice of the school-based in-service training of L Primary School from the view of an onlooker, and think that the school-based in-service training of this school has its own unique characteristics. The author also reflects the problems of the headmaster' s idea of the school-based in-service training and management, teachers' viewpoint of the school-based in-service training and motivation, and the training outside the school and the function of research institutions.
