Researches done numerously both at home and abroad have already indicated that teachers are among those who have endured the stress most in the society. Present development of information technology has not only expedited the emergence of the era of knowledge-driven economy, the information-based society and the society to learn, but it has also caused the reform of education and course further too. Correspondingly, the teachers has been put more and more requirements on which has brought the new stress to them at the same time. The stress not only comes from new technology, but also from the "environment" the new technology creates. In our country, the teacher stress caused by information technology has not been paid enough attention to yet, and the research on this field is even more scarce, so, this article aims at carrying on a deep analysis of this question.This article begins with theoretical research. On the foundation of reading up a great deal of domestic and international literature about teacher's stress and techno-stress carefully, the article analyzes the stress that the information technology has brought to teachers from the following three aspects. First of all, from the aspect of the factors intrinsic to teaching, The article has used the concept of "role" in sociology to analyze the stress caused by the expectations that the society places on teachers including the new roles for teachers and new demands to their quality under information technology environment; Secondly, proceeding with systemic factors such as educational reform, course reform in the school, etc., the article has analyzed the forming mechanism to explain the reason for which these changes has brought stress to teachers; Moreover, as we all know, whether the external situation could make individuals "feel" the stress, or to which extent it can impact the teachers all depends on the individual's subjective appraisal, therefore, the article also analyzes several cognitive factors that have influence on teacher's stress. Finally, the article carries on the summary and outlooks to the topic.
