Abstract: Based on the latest researches and literatures referred from home and abroad, the thesis aims to solve the student's learning adaptation problems in the transitional period from the primary school to junior high school in Dalian. The structure, developmental characteristics, present situation of learning adaptations are carefully analyzed within the six schools, classifying into Grade Six students in primary school and students in Grade One and Two in Junior high school respectively. Results show the four dimensions, namely, learning attitude, learning method, curiosity, learning environment covering in learning adaptations. Therefore, the difference hits the significant level, mainly falling on the learning attitude and learning method. However, no significant difference is detected in curiosity and learning environment among grades;no significant difference is detected in learning adaptation among ages and grades.
