Under the background of continuity and transition from kindergarten to primary school, we take318first grade students at the end of the first semester in Tianjin as the objects of study. The questionnaire the study uses is based on five content scales, lectures methods, learning attitude, family environment, school environment, perseverance and independence..According to the survey results, the following conclusions can be drawn:1.First grade students learn better adaptive level of overall, especially the distribution of middle and higher level is higher than the national norm, but there are still some students have learning maladjustment, in particular the learning attitude and lectures methods.2. First grade students’ learning adaptability has nothing to do with the education area, but which is closely related with the gender of the students, whether or not to accept the kindergarten education, the kindergarten years of education.3. The level of learning adaptability is less affected by social education institutions outside the kindergarten, but closely related to academic achievement.4.First grade students’ learning adaptability and academic performance of students was significantly associatedThrough the research and analysis, we find that some factors such as students’ gender, accepting a form of early education institutions and years of kindergarten’s education, have greater impact on primary school students’ learning adaptability. Comprehensive interviews with teachers from both sides, we find some corresponding recommendations and countermeasures for both kindergarten and elementary school to promote children adapt well, reduce the slope of students’ learning adaptability from kindergarten to preschool, with the purpose of promoting their comprehensive developments.
