In the digital era, higher vocational education is faced with anaustere challenge of social reforming. The ability to obtain informationbecomes the new core of competition. The vocational school graduates arethe main force of the future information industry construction. To makethem highly qualified and endowed with a life-long studying ability, thevocational school must face the requirement of the digital era, andemphasize the cultivating of information accomplishment, setting it asa crucial objective and main part of vocational human quality education. Summing up the research achieved at home and abroad, we hold the viewthat information accomplishment includes two meanings: technological andhuman. Speaking of technological factor, information accomplishmentrepresents people's ability to search for, to differentiate, to filtrateand to utilize information. As far as human factor is concerned,information accomplishment reflects people's feeling, attitude andvalue towards information, and it is set on the basis of technologicallevel, concerning many aspects from independent research, cooperating topersonal and social responsibility. Information accomplishment is the significant component of thefundamental abilities for vocational graduates, thus having greatinfluence on their independent study. Besides, it is indispensable forthe development of students' professional ability. Therefore,information accomplishment plays an important part in vocational studentseducation and is a significant task of vocational education innovation. The information accomplishment of vocational students has particularstructure and objective system, which ensures that the objectives ofinformation accomplishment cultivating for vocational students can beachieved so as to get them prepared knowledgeably , mentally andtechnologically for the new life in the information society, and toinspire and motivate them to carry out study using information resource.That is, by cultivating information accomplishment, we should make thegraduates endowed with the qualities and abilities required, and to belife-long learners. At present, in the course of cultivating information accomplishment,there are various problems in many aspects such as teacher's quality,students' basic knowledge and teaching quality. To ensure thedevelopment and improvement of the students' information accomplishment,we ought to deal positively with these problems and to solve them. In orderto achieve these aims, we should learn more and adjust our way of thinking;we should establish a scientific belief towards talents, students,education and teaching;we should pay more attention to the furthertraining for teachers' qualification. More investments and excellentmanagements are needed to build an information resource center for highereducation so as to set a broad stage for the development of students. Inaddition, computer teaching should be highlighted and subject teachingshould be adjusted, the conformity of information technology and othersubjects should be proposed, which will help developing students'ability of attaining and utilizing information. What's more, we canemphasize guiding and educating students to make good use of theadvantages of Internet technology so as to improve their own knowledgeand virtues.As the development of information education, there are many newproblems spring up. We must grasp the opportunity, open our minds, broadenour ways of thinking, further our study and discussion with the help ofmodern Internet technology to promote the rapid development of ourvocational school education.
