In China, the moral education is facing great difficulties. As a result, the effectiveness of moral education has recently become a heat issue that is waiting to be solved. As the fast development of moral education is practice, more and more positive results in the research area of moral education have come into being both in the theoretical side of the issue and the practical one. Nevertheless, as for the moral education in practice, there still exists the serious "neck of the bottle" problem, as being called. So in order to improve the situation in moral education practice, more and more people begin to pay special attention to the effectiveness research, and have made a lot of discussions about it. But as for the research of the building up and strengthening of moral sense as the method to realize the effectiveness of moral education, there is still little progress. This thesis is trying to make a deeper exploration in the theoretical aspect on the basis of the already existing research results with the hope of promoting the progress of moral educational practice. This thesis is devided into 3 parts:Part ⅠTrying to make a thorough research as to the present situation of moral education in the following three components of the society: school, family and community, with the purpose of finding out the present difficulties in moral education. On the basis of the research mentioned above, the thesis sets up the direction of the research of the effectiveness of moral education, that is, to begin from the nurturing of moral emotion to realize the effectiveness of moral education.Part ⅡTo mainly solve the feasibility of the building up of moral sense for the benefit of the effectiveness of moral education, both in the theoretical side and the practical side of the problem. From the theoretical and practical side of the issue respectively, the thesis demonstrates thefeasibility of building up moral sense as a shortcut toward the realization of the effectiveness of moral education. Discussed from the theoretical side of the issue, as a kind of moral emotional experiences, moral sense makes great contribution both in the stage of cognitive processing and the stage of the transition from moral cognition to moral practice. Discussed from the practical side of it, as long as there is the positive guiding in education, moral emotional experiences are very easy to grow. This part of the thesis is mainly dedicated to discuss the effect of beauty sense in the growing moral sense. Because beauty exists everywhere, then obviously the raising of moral sense is practically feasible.Part III:To mainly solve the problem of finding the effective way of building up the moral sense. To analyze the practical method in the building up of moral concept which is the necessary condition of the building up of moral sense. At the same time, the thesis gives justification as to the necessity of widening the valid space of emotional experiences in order to set up and strengthen moral sense. The detailed methods are unfolded from the following two perspectives: raising the fast rate of the emotional sensibility of individuals and spreading the experiencing areas of the emotional experiences. And finally, two effective ways of moral sense strengthening and emotion permeating are introduced. All of the three aspects mentioned above contribute to an exploration of the effective ways for the raising of moral sense as a whole.
