English Teaching Cooperative Learning Strategies And Methods Of Experimental Research

Cooperative Leaning was started in the United States in 1970s and it had a history of several decades now. However, it was merely for about more than ten years when it was used in China teaching and educational fields. The theoretical and practical research on the combination of cooperative Learning and English teaching is still in its beginning stages.On the basis of educational theory of cooperative learning, this paper analyzed the present research situation in English teaching. In view of some defects and problems in teaching at the moment, the author of the article found out the reason and put forward the available tactics: dividing into groups, proper moment and classroom administration, attempted to establish the implementation methods about cooperative leaning by English teaching: with Jigsaw, Learning Together, Team Tournament, Dramatic Learning and so on as approaches. Moreover, the author used the experimental and observational method and questionnaire for researching, and tried to display the operation that the study is living in the English teaching.Finally, the author hopes that this paper can not only improve the English classroom teaching means to play the essence to ascertain the exchange language education sufficiently, but also hope this paper can give some enlightenment and reference to the teaching practice of this subject.
