With the development of the science and technology and the fierce world wild competition, the qualified personnel are in great need of. As the important content and the channel of the aesthetic education, ordinary senior high school musical education is an indispensable part in the qualified oriented education."Musical Curriculum Criteria of Ordinary Senior High School" was promulgated and putted into practice. The new Criteria propose the new teaching principles and establishes new training target. It emphasizes the students' taking an active part in practice and lets them become the main part of musical teaching activities. Great changes have taken place in teaching target, teaching contents, teaching organizational forms and so on. Paying more attention on the students' feelings, experiences, participation, thinking and cooperation in the musical activities plays an important role in improving the students' overall quality, developing aesthetic judgment and training creativity spirit and practical ability.Along with "Musical, Curriculum Criteria of Ordinary Senior High School" being made experiments in Shandong in autumn 2004.The urgent problems that need to be solved is how to adjust measures to suit local conditions and put it into practice and how to make it to suit curriculum principles and the reality of musical teaching in Dingtao which is not a comparatively flourishing region of economy and culture,This article not only aims to train musical interest to arouse the students' require of musical study and to inspire students' the practical abilities and creativity spirit, but also aims to develop the students' aesthetic judgment and to improving the students' overall quality, by making use of local music course resources well with the foundation of the course principle. This article expound principles and ways of implementing Criteria by investigating related teacher's resources, student study present condition, the course resources etc. and analyses their features and causes as well as. This article aims at the request of "Musical Curriculum Criteria of Ordinary Senior High School" and according to the senior high school music teaching actualities and actual situation of Dingtao The article aims to quest for primary exploitation of teaching practice through exploiting curriculum resources, optimizing the music teaching and enriching the practice activities.The teaching target of qualified education can properly be achieved, if the teaching spirit of Criteria is adjusted measures to local conditions to put into practice according to the reality of musical teaching activities in Dingtao where it is not comparatively flourishing region of economy and culture over a year.
