Life is the precondition of the realization of schooling. Attention to the life is the value of nowadays education. However the loss of the students' individual awareness makes us think deeply. So it is urgent to put the life education into practice. In this aspect, many schools in Shanghai play the leading role. Nowadays, relying on the guideline of life education of students in Shanghai, we steps out the pace of thinking and exploring. Biology which regards life as the research object plays an important role in life education. How to bring life education into effect in biology teaching to make up the important parts in the system of life education is a new task that we must think and practise. The article aims to explaining the understanding of educational theory of life and how to explore life education in the teaching of biology. The article can be divided into five parts:The first part: theoretical base and actuality of life education. Mainly summarise the theoretical base of life education at home and abroad. Introduce some famous works of life education. Describe separately the actuality of life education at home and abroad, including that of Shanghai.The second part: the background and significance put forward by life education. This part includes social educational and family background. Then I analyze the orientation and connotation of the life education in Shanghai. The last part indicates the significance of life education.The third part: life education in the teaching of biology.This part discusses the relationship and linking points of biology teaching and life education. By the method of researching, this part analyses the application of life education in biology teaching in Shanghai.The forth part: methods of application of life education in biology teaching. This article discusses the following aspects of implementary methods: Firstly, methods of application of life education in the teaching of biology knowledge. Secondly, the exploration of the implementary modes of life education in the teaching of biology experiments. In addition, it also discusses the implementary modes of life education in the activities of biology and the utilization of resources about biology. Finally, this article makes an investigation and analysis on the result of application. The fifth part: the problems of prospect of it.According to the major problems of life education in biology teaching, This article puts forward the strategies and makes a prospect on life education in biology teaching. Through two years' thinking and researching, I conclude from what I have learned to write this article cautiously to give some suggestions.
