As the traditional math education and course can no longer adapt to the high development of modern natural science technology and the demand of modern society, people have proposed many new educational methods. The new course standard of high school math goes with this trend, and provides each individual student space and time for free development. It will also allow students to develop their character on the basis of fundamental mathematic attainment, and stretch their potential to the fullest extent. Above all, it will build a stable foundation for the students to adjust to the modernization of society and their own need for life-long development. Upon that purpose, this article will combine theory with practice, and draw new conclusions from that, in order to prepare for the new course standard.This article will be divided into three parts.The first part surveys the trail of reform in the field of teaching in the West, and its enlightenment to the people. In the process of educational reform, it is never to much to emphasize the important role that teachers play. The elevation of teachers' personal accomplishment and the renewal of concept, without doubt, is an important element in a successful reform in the education field. The reform in mathematical education should be regarded in various aspects such as social, mathematical and educational. If it is only looked at and developed in the aspect of math, no matter how great it is planned and visualized, the reform will fail. The process of math educational reform is a process for the teachers to learn, practice, and think it over.The second part will go from the aspect of teaching practice, of how to teach effectively under the guidelines of the new course. Theory without practice will leave us only slogan. We the teachers can use our advantage to explore new methods in the process of teaching. Here are some examples to further explain the process of teaching. Through the teaching ,we can make the students master the means of investigating math. Through the deduction of theorem, make the students realize that high school math emphasizes on reasoning, especially logical reasoning. Through the analysis of representative examples and the students' individual exploring, make them understand the formation process of math concepts and conclusions, and follow the historical footsteps of the development of mathematics.The third part will prepare for the success of the reform by concluding and rethinking after the process of practice. The education of mathematics is part of the "human education", part of life education, it's a show of intellects, rather than killing students' individuality and life. Over-exaggerating the role that mathematics plays, over-emphasizing on math grades will no damage the students' overall development, from re-thinking and absorbing the structure of the new course, comparing the differences, and further understanding the course's structure and module, will deepen the essential understanding of math. Complicating simple questions, without considering the students' abilities will affect the class efficiency. Regard proving as a lesson's emphasis will not help in handling the textbook. Substituting teaching with problem-solving will metamorphose the lively learning process into a mechanical imitating activity, and kills the students' creativity and interest in math.
