With the increasing concern for the environmental problem and the new overall launching of curriculum reform, it is more and more important and pressing to build a school-based curriculum in environment education.Based on the principles of curriculums and school-based curriculums as well as the historical development and current situation of environmental education, this thesis probes into the necessity of school basing the curriculum in environmental education and the factors influencing the process, advises on the basic goals, contents, building strategies of the curriculum together with its relation to other subjects, analyses some common improper practice in building such school-based curriculum.This paper is composed of six chapters.
