Time Management Disposition Of The Status Of Secondary School Students And Academic Achievement Of The Study

Time management is base on the time's value and significance that the individual recognized, it refers to the traits of the mental and behavior that control and valuate the relation of activity and time. Time management tendency comes from the individual's personality trait of allocating and exploiting time, it is a personality tendency which shows the traits of mental and behavior that the individual's style of utilizing time, owning meta-dimension and meta-level.Nowadays, empirical researches showed less integrated and continuity in time management especially on the sample of technical secondary school students. Towards technical secondary school students, the present study discussed the feature of time management tendency and explored the relations between the achievement and subscales. Furthermore, the present study put forwards some useful suggestions, not only can help students formed better time of conception and improve ability of time management, but also promote quality education and students' ability.In this study, with an available tool ATMD((Adolescence Time Management Dispostion Scale) for measure. The present study selected randomly subjects from five schools including two technical secondary school and a vocational middle school and two senior middle school in Kunming. In each school, selected three classes which comes from one grade, two grade and three grade. In addition, collected the achievements of principal subjects. Using SPSS10.0 to analyze original data. The results concluded as follows:1. The result showed that the average score of students of technical secondary school at the level of medium, in addition, students have stronger sense of time.2. At the total tendency of time management, with the grade increased, the time management more strong. One grade is in transitional stage or adaptable stage, two grade is in turning stage, three grade is in key and develop stage.3. Among the three grades, the results showed there had any significance on the value sense of time, the efficacy of time and total scores; but the sense of control have significance.
