Research On The Relationship Between Academic Procrastination And Achievement Motivation And Time Management Tendency Of Technical School Students

Technician education is an important part of vocational education.It has trained a large number of technical talents for the country.Studies have shown that academic delay is related to achievement motive and time management disposition.But select technician school students as subject related research is less.This study intends to examine the academic delay of the technician school students from the perspective of achievement motive and time management disposition,clarify the relationship between the three in theory,thus it will provide possible decision-making suggestions to improve the academic performance of technician school students in practical teaching practice.This study used the academic delay questionnaire,achievement motive questionnaire and time management disposition questionnaire to conduct a questionnaire survey of 615 students from Heyuan Technician College and Longchuan Technician School.575 valid questionnaires were collected,and differential test,variance analysis,related statistical analysis,regression analysis and other statistical methods provide in-depth analysis of the three variables of academic delay,achievement motive and time management disposition.The results of the study are as follows:(1)There were significant differences in academic delay of technician school students in gender and professional selection methods.There is a significant difference for achievement motive in gender.Time management disposition is at a medium level,and there is a significant difference for time management disposition in professional selection methods.(2)The academic delay of technician school students are significantly and negatively correlated with achievement motive,time management disposition;the achievement motive are positively correlated with time management disposition;There was a significantly negative correlation between achievement motive and motivation of failure avoidance.(3)The motivation to pursue success and the sense of time monitoring and time efficacy of technician school students have significantly negative predictability to academic delay.(4)The achievement motive of technical school students play a partially mediating role in academic delay and time management disposition.
