Learning method is an important factor influencing the level of the trained students. The western countries began to research the learning method earlier, and have obtained series of the achievements in theories and in the teaching practice. Compared with them, our country is fallen behind. In the recent years, with deepening of the reform about the base education, we have built perfect theories about learning method from foreign countries .The old learning-method theories have been challenged that are dull and impassive, and the new learning methods have been popular that have the characteristics of independence, cooperation and investigation. Because of being subjected to the traditional education mode taking teacher as the center, it is difficult to promote the new learning method and change the present condition from the root.The high school or junior school teacher, as the main soldiers to reform the learning method, can't understand the main points of the reform for their absence of the theoretical knowledge and the restrictions of traditional ideas. There have been many misunderstandings, such as:The first, parts of primary and junior high school teacher take action to refuse the modern learning method and misunderstand the traditional learning method. The second, they can't clench the key points of the modern learning method (the self-conducted learning, cooperative learning and investigative learning) and misunderstand the essence of them, so they show many errors in the course of teaching. In the course of the practicing the self-conducted learning, some teachers let the students as it goes, and take no action to conduct the students. For another example, the teachers misunderstand the cooperative learning as the group learning, or discussion in the form of group. In the last, the teacher can't find the differences between investigative learning and scientific research.Owing to above-mentioned circumstance, it is necessary to simply introduce the domestic and international learning method theories, and to study the different between the traditional learning method and the modern ones. Thus we can conclude that it is necessary to reform .Through the analysis, primary and junior high school teachers can have more overall comprehension to the learning method and come to know the inevitability of the reform, make efforts to understand the essence of the learning method in order to raise the quality of the teaching.We analyze the present condition to point out the inevitability.
