The autonomic cooperative and inquiry learning is not only an important way of learning which new curriculum advocated, but also an important way of teaching. The autonomic cooperative and inquiry learning is not the making up of autonomic learning cooperative learning and inquiry learning, is the organic amalgamation of the three. The autonomic cooperative and inquiry learning is neither a learning style nor a teaching style. Not all of the lessons, subjects and students are suited to this way of learning and teaching.The learning theory of constructivism and the learning theory of humanism are the two cornerstones of the autonomic cooperative and inquiry learning. Autonomous construct, cooperative construct, proximal developmental zone, learning by doing, self-fulfilment, self potentiality, leamer-centeredness, internal learning are the derivatives of the two theory. Situated or anchored instruction, scaffolding, establishing learning community, construct study atmo-sphere and exploiting curriculum resources are the further derivatives of the two theory. They are the powerful supply of the autonomic cooperative and inquiry learning.The autonomic cooperative and inquiry learning is the development of traditional learning and learning style. It’s the self-examination and criticism of the traditional learning and learning style. But the relationship of them are not mutually exclusive. The reason why we strong advocate the autonomic cooperative and inquiry learning is that it can inspire the internal motivation and excavate the big capacity of students. And it can bring up the learning interest, the accomplishment of subject, the exploring inspirit and the teamwork spirits, and then help students become an integrated person. So the teacher must change the idea of learning and teaching and also make progress with role conversion. In short, teacher must come out of the role of authority, leader and teach-book-smith, and becoming a teaching designer, exploitor of curriculum and curriculum resource, copartner, mentor and promoter of students.The central research purpose of this subject is by means of carding the theory of constructivism and humanism and organically combine both of them to provide a powerful theory support. And them, on this basis, to adopt some analyzing and discussing typical cases to find the combining site between the theory and practice. I expect the research of mine can provide some clear reference for senior high school manager and performer, and push forward the new curriculum reform developing farther.
