With advent of the era of economic globalization, political multi-polarization, social knowledge explosion, information network connection and culture diversification, china, in 21st century, is now at an important reformation and development strategic period with opportunity. The strategic status of education is becoming more important. Construction of research university can accelerate the creation process of first-grade university in our country and improve international competitiveness. Organization structure investigation of research university is an important part of modern university management innovation in our country. It is a complex project and is related to rise and fall of higher education of our country and implementation of strategy of developing the country by science and education improvement. However, construction of research university in our country is still in a beginning period and many aspects are not mature especially there have some problems in organization structure and management. Based on the importance of organization structure and management on construction of research university in our country, deep and systematical research of it has become an urgent thing.In this dissertation based on basic theory of organization structure, meaning and function of organization, evolvement of organization theory and development of organization structure form were introduced; evolvement of university organization was also introduced and four characteristics of it, which are technicality and self-determination, diversification and oneness, relaxation and conflict and democracy and open, were put forward; organization structure characteristics of research university of our country was analyzed. Afterward, successful experience of management of research university of our country was summarized, existing problems of organization structure were analyzed and historical and reality reasons were also explored deeply. Trend of organization structure of international famous research universities was explored using real cases and enlightenment which benefit to organization structure and management of research university in our country was obtained from aspects of power allocation, setting of administrative structure and academic structure of grass roots, etc. Finally, guiding thinking, concept and principle of innovative management of organization structure of research university in our country were put forward.
