| In the wake of increasingly competitive modern science & technology and with a focus on information technology, the nations of the world, to some extent, attach more importance to education on information technology in high schools and elementary schools. Computer foundation courses have also become required courses in intermediate vocational schools. In the traditional teaching mode based on teachers, students lack practical experiences and observations, which will likely lead to abnormal phenomena, such as the inability or impossibility of using technology after studying it. Therefore, the writer considers it necessary to carry out serious research on the classroom teaching of computer foundation courses, and discover one practical and efficient teaching mode which can help students grasp the foundational skills of computer operation and apply them better to study, work and life.This subject starts from the teaching practices of the frontline teachers in the intermediate vocational schools in the Beijing city zone; it then analyses, summarizes and extracts the practical experiences of classroom teaching; furthermore, under the guide of teaching theory mainly on constructivism, it works out one integrated teaching mode from the theoretical level on the premise of "cooperation" by using the research measures of investigation, analysis, induction and deduction. Afterwards, by experimental research in real teaching conditions, the writer improves the teaching method by being "task driven", something commonly used in teaching modes for "problem - research". From the level of practical operation, the writer creates one new integrated mode - the "cooperative teaching mode". Herein, "cooperation" is defined to be the cooperation among students more importantly than among teachers. The objects of cooperation include not only the teachers in the same subject, but also the teachers working together. Teachers of the computer foundation course will adequately understand the study tasks of their students in other subjects, and by communication with the teachers of other subjects; they will seek out adequate teaching content in the computer foundation course. This content will serve as "tasks", and help students fulfil concrete tasks with practical meaning in the computer foundation course classroom.After one period of real operation, the writer will define the operational process of this "cooperative teaching mode" into the following steps:"teachers cooperating to design tasks - teachers and students cooperating to analyse tasks - students cooperating to fulfil tasks - everyone cooperating to communicate feedback - consolidating and improving the practical application". As this mode is applied to teaching, the study interests of students are improved, as are their intentions in studying together. Their abilities to find and solve problems are enhanced as well, and the overall function of teacher is carried out effectively. |
