Along with the constant emphasis on teachers' professional development in our country, teachers" structure of knowledge will face new problems and new challenges. As teachers' structure of knowledge will affect not only the perfection and improvement of themselves, but also will have a great influence on students' future development.This article analyzes the traditional standpoints on the structure of teachers' knowledge and essence of the teachers' knowledge. And it gives some feasible advice on how to perfect and improve the structure of teachers" knowledge in the process of teachers' professional development.This thesis is stated by six parts. Part One is about the research introduction. It mainiy introduces the background (knowledge economy), methods (documentary research and case study) and meanings (trying to uncover essence of the teachers' knowledge; putting emphasis on thinking about structure of teachers' knowledge on a whole; enriching structure of teachers' knowledge and showing some ideas on perfecting structure of teachers' knowledge). Part Two is about briefly analyzing the traditional viewpoint on the structure of teachers' knowledge, posing its relevant limitations. Part Three is about reconceptuaiizing the teachers' knowledge, pointing out that teachers' knowledge is personalized and tacit, it embodies seven characters including purposefulness. Part Four is about taking theories, teachers' profession development, subject need, life learning and practical knowledge for the theoretical basis of exploring the structure of teachers' knowledge. Part Five is about concrete analysis of the structure of teachers' knowledge. It consists of two parts, which have inner integration, teachers' public educational knowledge and teachers' individual knowledge. Part Six is about methods and strategies of constructing the structure of teachers' knowledge, such as emphasizing teachers' education, renewing educational theories, teachers' seif-thinking and action research, etc.
