Nowadays, the blog-based education narrative is a hot issue in educational field. Some scholars point out that the blog-based education narrative is of advantage to teachers' professional development. Whereas the blog-based education narrative emerged in recent years, it is naturally confronted with many issues such as whether it can be helpful for teachers' professional development or not; what problems exit when teachers use it; how to guide it to a better development and so on .Aiming at these problems, this thesis provides a good exploration and illustration.This thesis first introduces the circumstances of picking the subject, the objectives of research, the major research methods and the frame of the thesis. In the mean time, it defines some keywords that are involved in the thesis. Then, it combs the concepts including education narrative, education blog, analyzes the current research of blog-based education narrative and refers to some related theories. According to the research, it reveals the weakness of the current research. Based on this, this thesis expatiates on the theoretical base of training plan, designs a training plan and implements it on the Changshu teacher training of nearly one year duration. When the training is close to the end, I design a questionnaire to survey how teachers use it to promote professional development. Besides, I also analyze the narrative reports that teachers have written in the training period.Through the experimental research of blog-based education narrative in the Changshu teacher training, I find that the blog-based education narrative really promotes teachers' professional development. But it still has some problems:· It is a hard job for most teachers to keep blog-based education narrative.· The quality of narrative reports needs improving· Many teachers don't use the Blog effectively In order to solve these problems, I think we should:· Have a good encouraging mechanism.· Form a learning community.· Keep the knowledge in good order.· Ask some specialists for help and guidanceFinally, I reflect my research process, and summarize the innovative points and put forth the future research goals.
