Some researches on sex and gender distinction in education between students and teachers have been done at home and abroad. But these researches are mainly on the side of students and teachers as a whole. Few are made a thorough study in specific subjects. Even though individual subject have been concerned on the difference between teacher's personality and teaching style, but different subject has different-teaching goal, different content and different way of study, which influences students' sex role. And teachers' personality also has various effect on teaching process and result.The writer depends on cognitive psychology, teaching style, philosophy, psychology, physiology and statistics to make questionnaire and carry out the study among 146 students in senior 2 and senior 3 from four senior middle schools in Kunming with a self-developed questionnaire. The results show that senior teachers of Physics are obviously formed into male sex. Men teachers of Physics are more acceptable and prefer than women teachers. However, regarding the gender expectations, the senior students do not show significant preference to men teachers of Physics. Students who have been taught by women teachers of Physics tend to be lessstereotyped in their gender expectations than those who have no such experiences. Senior students think generally that man and women teachers of Physics have obvious differences between teaching superiority and teaching style.The essay emphasizes and discusses some possible influential factors from high school students' acceptance and expectation towards teachers of Physics.
