Through the analysis of the research actuality in teachers' performance appraisal, according to the particularity of high-school teachers' performance, the paper pointed out the problems and shortage in the setup of the performance indices system. Based on these, the paper brought forward that it should take into account the differences among subjects, majors and different stages of development of the high-school teachers during the period of setting up performance indices. In order to improve the rationality of indices system, the paper use AHP to give weights of indices and mathematical model to quantify the research work.The paper was divided into five chapters. In the first chapter, the paper expatiated the purpose of the research and gave a brief instruction of the paper's research frame and methods; in the second chapter, the paper discussed the connotation, principals, meanings of the performance appraisal on high-school teachers, especially the particularity of the high-school teacher's performance appraisal; in the third chapter, the paper indicated the shortage based on the analysis on the actuality of high-school teacher's performance appraisal both at home and abroad, and indicated the very importance of a scientific performance indices system; the forth chapter was the keystone of the paper. In this part, the paper illustrated how to set up the performance indices system rationally, and used AHP & mathematical model to quantify the index weight and research work; in the fifth chapter, based on the practice the paper illustrated some conclusions that got in the research of the performance appraisal on high-school teachers.
