China's higher vocational education aims to train emerging talents in order to empower them with all-round vocational capabilities and the application of technology in production, management and service sectors. From the beginning of 1980's, in step with the rapid development of China's economy, technology and culture, half of China's higher education is now in vocational education. However, as higher vocational education is relatively new in China, such rapid development is inevitably accompanied by many problems, and moral education is one of the challenges that higher vocational education is facing.Moral education in higher vocational education is essentially the same as that in higher education in general. By implication, however, it is different due to the different nature and characteristics of vocational education. Currently there are many problems within moral education practice in higher vocational colleges such as: incorrect positioning; unrealistic objectives; delays with team building; ineffective and disjoint. Therefore, the integration of the moral education system for higher vocational colleges has become an imperative.The formation of ideology and morality in higher vocational college students is a gradual process over three years. Moral education for higher vocational colleges should take into account the physical and psychological characteristics of the students, and adjust the patterns of morality formation and higher vocational education accordingly.An integrated moral education system should be based on contemporary theories of moral characteristic, moral education and systems, but taking moral education objectives, content, channels, methods, management and evaluation as "woofs" , and the first, second and third grades in higher vocational colleges as its 'meridians'. These woofs and meridians interweave into an implementation of a moral education system, suitable for the higher vocational colleges and meeting the needs of preparing talents for the market.This paper has considered the situation in higher vocational education today, and...
