The composition teaching in high school, also called writing teaching, is theimportant part of Chinese curriculum in high school, driving at bringing up the student'swriting ability. The writing ability is an integrated ability, including the student'scomprehension and provision of basic Chinese knowledge, exercising writing skills andexpressive modes, mastering and handling the Chinese language, also including students'observational ability, cognition and analyze on objective things, at the same time, it alsoreflects the students' character, living experience, emotive incline and intellectiverepertory. Therefore, the composition teaching in high school should be paid moreattention as it takes on many tasks: training the students' expressive ability, developingtheir ideation, cultivating good writing mentality and edifying their moral sentiment.New time takes new demands for school education; the Chinese curricular reform ofnew century endues new historical duty for the composition teaching reform in highschool. The text follows the curricular idea "accelerating the student's development",basing on developmental rule in body and mind of students in high school, from thepsychology, especially from writing mentality of students, thinking the problems ofcurrent composition teaching reform in high school. Aim at the existent problem incurrent writing teaching by understanding its own rules of composition teachingcombining with internal mind in student's writing, bringing reforming thoughts ofwriting teaching in high school.The thesis is divided into three parts: Preface, text and conclusion. The text isdivided into four chapters.Preface: Say the background and intention of the writing.Chapter One writing teaching summary in high school: summarize the qualityand the character, the goal and the duty of writing teaching in high school. By reviewingthe history of Chinese writing teaching research and taking foreign intention on compositionteaching use for reference, holding the current direction of Chinese writing teachingresearch, establish the station and value of this article.Chapter Two Analyze actuality of composition teaching in high school andthink about reform: researching and analyzing actuality of composition teaching, sumup problems and shortages in modern writing teaching, think rationally about writing teaching reform in high school.Chapter Three Analyze writing mentality of students in high school: analyze thestudents' characters of different ages and effects in writing, analyze the students' mentalactivities in writing process, hoping to bring academic gist for composition teachingreform in high school.Chapter Four Optimize the writing teaching design in high school: This is theessential part of the text, optimizing the students' mentality, putting opening writingteaching into practice, establishing multi-value system, based on the student's character,design writing teaching in high school.Conclusion: Point out notices of the composition teaching in high school, thedeficiency of this article.Creative: The text based on writing mentality of students, reviews moderncomposition teaching in high school, breaking through traditionally researching categoryof writing teaching. It renovates reforming idea of composition teaching, inheritingChinese traditional idea, absorbing foreign advanced experience, combining withcurrently new idea of curricular reform. It researches writing mentality of students inhigh school, holding the whole mental character, regarding individually mentaldifferentia. It seeks for important meaning that researching writing character of studentscan bring to composition teaching reform.Investigative Methods: The text must do many demonstrations for researchingwriting teaching reform in high school by analyzing writing mentality of students in highschool. The thesis takes diagnoses by questionnaire and interview, and from those,disinterring writing mentality of students, offering academic gist for practicingcomposition teaching reform in high school.
