On the basis of psychology and pedagogy theories, present study explores the combination of biology science history and inquiry learning, in which some tissues of inquiry learning are addressed by means of biology science history, and some teaching modes are put forward. In these modes,with biology science history as the carrier, the inquiry learning was achieveded through a series of basic units. In addition, author describes the theoretic base, implementing procedure and matters needing attention, and at the same time, some teaching cases of mode teaching are illustrated.The practicing research following present teaching mode indicates that inquiry learning mode based on biology science history have a significant effects, including improving study efficiency, advancing exploring ability, and optimizing course atmosphere. At the same time, students show more enthusiasm on biology study, and the science spirit is fully aroused. This research will provide a good example and reference for academic and practical research concerned.
