This study explores separately five-year junior students' and three-year senior students' current features of time management dispositions in higher vocational school, differences between those two kinds of students, the correlation between the students' time management dispositions and academic performance and relevant education measure:In this study, 396 students from three higher vocational schools in Xu Zhou have been investigated in questionnaires and data have been analyzed through statistics by consulting a table for teenagers' time management disposition drawn up by Huang Xiting, Zhang Zhijie, etc. as a research tool. Based on the statistical results, some testees have been observed and interviewed, class advisors, deans and directors in charge of teaching have also been visited and asked.After the data have been analyzed and processed, conclusions have been drawn as follows:(1) Five-year junior students' current features of time management dispositions in higher vocational school have been analyzed in this study. The findings show that as to junior students' inclinations to time management, their aim guide and plan prominently differ in grades, majors and sexes and at the same time those factors conspicuously have mutual effects.(2) For three-year senior students in higher vocational school, their aim guide, plan and self-efficacy clearly vary in grades, majors and sexes and meanwhile, majors and sexes distinctively alternatively affect self-efficacy of time management, task-driving ability and the capability for time management.(3) Distinctive differences exist in aim guide and schedules between junior students and senior ones' time management. Regarding the aim guide, schedules and abilities in time management, sexes and levels of schools have obviously influenced each other.(4) The students' self-efficacy and abilities in time management have relationship with academic performance. That is to say, higher self-efficacy and abilities in time management lead to better performance.On the basis of above outcome, together with observations and interview data, the following advice has been provided: ,(1) help students have proper vocational orientation;(2) guide students set up practical goal;(3) encourage students work out reasonable plan; (4) teachers should keep orders in class to make sure that students could have higher time efficiency;(5) correct learned helplessness and cultivate students' self-efficacy;(6) foster abilities in time management with feasible measure.
