Shandong Province is among the first provinces to carry out the new curriculum experiment since the autumn of 2004. Not only is the ordinary high school education an indispensable part of our elementary education,but also it occupies a unique place and is of great value in the national education system.Being an elementary education which is geared to mass and aim to raise the overall quality of the whole nation on the basis of the nine-year compulsory education,it shoulders an important mission to lay foundation for students'life-long education and train qualified laborers,specialized personnel and innovators.The new curriculum reform has set forth concrete targets as follows:to offer contents requisite to life-long study,create conditions favorable to student'willing study and increase their capabilities to study of their own accord,to cooperate and exchange as well as to analyze and solve problems.《The Curriculum Standard of Maths》proposes that in order to make the activtiy and creativity of both teachers and students into full play,the math teaching should be carried on in a state of equality,to stimulate students learning interests,to cultivate the conscicousness and habits of students'active learning and create an active learning atmosphere.According to the features fo math teaching,teacher should develop the innovational teaching mode-teachers ask and students answer,to create a phase full of interactivity between teachers to students,students to students.In the teaching process,the writer fully realized the importance of efficiency in math teaching.The teaching process should be carried on as a thinking process by means of proper situations,to stimulate,promote and realize thinking.This article deals with"situation teaching of math"based on the brief introduction of"situation teaching". It talks about the meaning and theoretical foundation. The emphases include the importance, possibility, methods, skills and principles of establishing"situation-teaching".The author of this essay has been a professional mathematical teacher of two common-level classes of science department in Shandong experimental middle school. Under the context of new courses, these essay ids designed to discuss about creation of context for mathematical problems so as to meet the practical needs of class teaching. First of all, this essay will comment from many aspects the importance and viability of creation of contexts for mathematical problems in the teaching process. Furthermore, according to the characteristics of the science of math's and the rule that students follow in studying ,this essay comes up with four principles for creation of contexts for mathematical problems respectively, the principle of appropriateness, the principle of process, the principle of structure and the principle of extension. Finally, under the guidance of the above theories, the experimental study has been made and the results showed that in mathematical teaching, through creating proper contexts of problems ,arousing students'desire for seeking knowledge, touching off students'active thought, it is quite effective in promoting their enthusiasm and initiative in mathematical study ,cultivating their capability of analyzing and solving problems including their consciousness of being innovative and applying mathematics ,as well as in promoting the all-direction teaching quality.
