The research adopted the method of combining the quantitative research and the qualitative research, took the form of questionnaire survey and the deep-going interview, analyzed and revealed the present situation of the relationship between the teachers and students of Grade Two at a certain school in Nanjing under the background of new curriculum reform, tried to understand the teachers and students', in particular, the students', views and suggestions to the teachers and students' relationship, found the main problems and origins, and proposed certain suggestions of improving the relationship between the teachers and students.This research discovered that the teachers and students' mutual cognition is positive at present, the students can respect teachers and teachers can also like students, but differences exist between both sides in the cognition and the idea, lacking the essential understanding and the communication, therefore, their feelings are not deep; The current organization pattern of teachers and students is primarily democratic and centralized, but does not lack the type of despotism and the laissez faire; because the students have not felt the teachers' love already given to them, or teachers did not truly understand the student's innermost feeling world, both sides are not too consistent in feelings and the expressions; as boy students are different from girl students in such aspects as physiology, psychology, behavior manner, way of performance, characteristics of thinking, academic records as well as appraisal way , the sex difference exists in the cognition,emotion and motion of the relationship between the teachers and students; now students' independent consciousness and equal consciousness are strengthening, they do not advocate teachers' dignity, but request to obtain teachers ' respect and trust, longing to enjoy amusement and joy together, exchange ideas honestly, thus become good teachers and helpful friends.In short, on the one hand, differences exist between both sides in the cognition and the idea,behavior way as well as way of feeling and expression, either side has some dissatisfaction with the opposite party, the emotion communication channel between teachers and students is insufficiently unimpeded; On the other hand, the development of times, the social environment change, the slowly-renewed idea, the greater pressure to enter a higher school and so on aggravated teachers' and students' psychological burden, intensified the contradiction between the teachers and students. These factors have finally affected the normal development of the relationship between teachers and students.This research, from the four aspects of educating and guiding well the students' behavior,enhancing teachers' overall qualities,building the good social atmosphere as well as strengthening the school administration, proposed the rationalization proposals and provided the beneficial mentality for the establishment of good relationship between teachers and students.
