Nowadays, Education in China has a great change, from test education to characteristic education, from traditional education to creation education, from teaching education to individual education, from indirect education to future education. From analysis of educational evaluation, it needs that evaluation method must be creative. This essay will indicate connotation and function of informal evaluation which people don't pay any attention. Informal evaluation means that teacher observes and converse students in the school days. Moreover teacher could understand students continuously, and form an idea for the students. Obviously, informal evaluation is a course evaluation which is different from other traditional evaluations. Thus through lots of phenomenon of students' consist psychology change, it results that people have paid more attention to it. This research connects characteristic of English and teaching, and analysis teacher knows students more in the teaching course, and indicate that help students make great confidence, build great values interest, motivation, mood, emotion, will and character and so on.
