A great difference between quality education and traditional education is that the second one only emphasizes how to pass on knowledge, white the first one emphasizes the combination of passing on knowledge and developing thinking quality that is improving one's thinking quality continuely in essence. The final purpose of education is to help students learn to think. This article is to discuss the development of Junior students'Physics thinking quality, which is according to author's personal educational experrence and feeling. And it points out that developing Students'thinking quality is the need of quality education, the development of thinking ability and the adaptation to new times. Physics is a subject that can develop students'thinking quality comprehensively. The feature of this subject offers the condition of this development. This article, in view of the feature of Junior physics teaching, analyzes forefathers'theorres about thinking and thinking quality. And on the thinking progressive psychology and the modern education theory, states the methods and principles of this development. In pace with teaching practice, points out that the teaching strategy of developing thinking quality is the combination of instructive method, heuristic method and investigative method. Through teaching practice, We try to make teaching theory can be operated and more accurate. After analyzing the rusults, it offers that we should pay attention to the influence of students'non-intelligence factors and teachers'thinking quality.
